Virgin Virtual Cheer

Shop and Fourmost Films have been helping Virgin break a record for the world’s largest virtual cheer.

Virgin sponsor the London Marathon and this year in the run up to the event they decided to collect 10,000 individual cheers on camera to help promote the day and spur on the runners. We have travelled the country collecting celebratory cheers from Virgin employees, runners and members of the public. The cheers were activated at the London Marathon on Sunday 17th April by Sir Richard Branson and his daughter Holly at mile 19, arguably one of the psychologically toughest miles of the day. They were played through big speakers to help keep the runners going.
