1. Sign the Petition
Since its creation, the UK Film Council has been the cornerstone of the British film industry and the funder of countless cultural film initiatives. They have backed more than 900 films, shorts and features, entertained more than 200 million people and helped to generate approximately £700 million at the box-office worldwide. Now that's worth saving!

2. Facebook
You can finally put the world's number one time-wasting portal to good use and support the cause on Facebook. If the social networking site can get a profanity ridden, seventeen year old music single to the top of the Christmas charts, I'm sure it can be used to show the people in government how much the public needs the UKFC.
